Challenge: Shipit, a leading logistics company in Finland specializing in international freight and shipping services, wanted to offer Ecwid online merchants a seamless shipping solution. The challenge was to develop an app that would allow Ecwid store owners to access multiple shipping providers without needing individual contracts, thus simplifying the entire shipping process. The solution needed to integrate various shipping methods (Posti, Matkahuolto, DB Schenker, FedEx, Postnord, and UPS) based on postal codes, making the shipping process more efficient and user-friendly.
We developed a powerful Ecwid app using Shipit’s API to connect online merchants with numerous shipping providers. The app allows merchants to manage all their shipping needs through a single interface without the need for separate contracts or monthly fees. Key features of the app included:
